Any 9th-12th grade student in Boston can join the Teens in Print staff writing team! Teens from across the city meet twice a week after school for a deep dive into journalism, to write and workshop articles one-on-one, and hear from professionals through our Guest Speaker Series. Plus, get your name and photo published alongside your article when it comes out in the quarterly edition of the newspaper! To join, fill out the form below and include your name, age, grade and school.
If you are unable to join TiP as a staff writer, you can still submit your writing to be published in TiP as a contributing writer! We accept any original writing written by a teenager, including news stories, features, essays, memoirs, poems, lyrics, letters, opinions, editorial cartoons – the only requirement is that it is relates to the life of, or shares the perspective of, a teen. TiP reserves the right to edit your work for length, content & appropriateness.
To submit your work for consideration as a contributing writer, fill out the form below with your information and we will get back to you, or you can submit your work as a PDF or Google Document to Carla.firstname.lastname@example.org.
To learn more or share your questions, inquiries or writing submissions, email Program Director Carla Gualdron at Carla.email@example.com, or call at (617) 541-2635.
